God of compassion, Father of love, 
we rejoice that you have called us 
to follow your Son, Jesus, 
evangelizing the poor.

We thank you for the providing love
 you have showered upon us 
in the past one hundred and fifty years 
of Vincentian presence in the Philippines.


Enrich us with undaunted fidelity
our predecessors have displayed 
to establish our apostolic purpose 
in this local Church.


Recreate in us the same Spirit 
you have invested on them 
so that we may be equally impelled 
to take on creatively the challenges of our time.


Be in us, stay with us on our journey, 
keeping up the spirit of our Founder, 
St. Vincent de Paul, 


until you welcome us to our eternal home 
in the company of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, 
Mother of Christ and also our Mother.


We ask this through the same Christ our Lord, 
in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
